The French brand Hermès announced the release of a new fragrance in the Terre d’Hermès collection – Terre d’Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver. With this new, unexpected interpretation of the classical composition, Christine Nagel, the in-house perfumer of the brand, continues the collection of male fragrances, started by Jean-Claude Ellena, which managed to gain a cult status over the last decade.
As the name implies, the note of vetiver in the composition acquires additional weight and significance in comparison with the original Terre d’Hermès (2006). In the re-interpreted version of 2018, vetiver manifests itself from the very start – it is bright and powerful like a sunbeam. It is followed by uplifting and invigorating heart notes of Sichuan pepper and bergamot. The base of the fragrance, as a tribute to the original Terre d’Hermès, is made up of woody and earthy notes.
The bottle of Terre d’Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver is made in the traditional design created by Philippe Mouquet, however, unlike the previous editions, the bottle is finished with a dark brown cap.
